Please carefully read the following terms and conditions related to your participation in Paul Selig’s (“Selig”) workshop (the “Workshop”) which is conducted by Guided Readings Inc. (“GRI”) and the Perabo Group (“Perabo”). By registering for the Workshop and indicating that you and the person you are sharing the room with agree to these terms and conditions, you (the undersigned “Participants”) signify your acceptance of these terms and conditions (the “Agreement”).

1. Participants warrant and represent that Participants: (a) are over the age of eighteen (18); (b) shall be respectful and professional to GRI, its affiliates, and other participants for the entirety of the Workshop and that if GRI determines, in GRI’s sole discretion, that Participants are being offensive or disruptive at the Workshop, GRI may remove Participants from the Workshop and Participants will not receive a refund; (c) understands that all information (“Confidential Information”) presented at the Workshop is copyrighted, proprietary, confidential, and/or otherwise owned or controlled by GRI, that Participant will not seek to use or replicate any Confidential Information in any manner, including, without limitation, reporting on any Confidential Information or posting a summary or review of the Workshop on any website of social media page, and will hold all Confidential Information strictly confidential in perpetuity, until such time GRI directs otherwise in writing or makes such Confidential Information public; (d) understands that all information disseminated at a Workshop, including, without limitation Confidential Information, cannot replace or substitute for the services of trained professionals in any field, including, without limitation, the mental, financial, medical, psychological, or legal fields, and that GRI and GRI’s affiliates, including Selig, is not offering any professional, personal, medical, financial, or legal advice as part of a Workshop and no information contained in the Workshop should be construed as such advice; (e) understands that adult content may, and is likely, to be discussed at the Workshop regarding an individual’s personal and/or professional growth, and if Participants are uncomfortable with such adult topics, Participants should not attend the Workshop and will not be extended a refund if Participants attend anyway; and (g) understands that a breach of this Agreement by Participants may cause irreparable injury to GRI or its affiliates, and that in the event of an actual or threatened breach, GRI shall, in addition to all other available legal and equitable remedies, be entitled to injunctive relief restraining any conduct prohibited herein.

2. GRI reserves the right to cancel or reschedule any Workshop at any time for any reason. In the unlikely event that GRI does so, Participants will receive a full refund or the opportunity to transfer their registration to a different workshop on another date. GRI, Perabo, GRI’s affiliates, including Selig, are not responsible for any consequential loss or expenses, including, without limitation, travel and accommodation expenses, incurred by Participants as a result of cancellation.

3. Participants understand that the Workshop may be recorded by GRI, however we frame the camera tightly on Paul Selig and only intend to capture him on camera – not the workshop Participants. In the unlikely event that a Participant is captured on camera, Participant: (i) agrees that GRI and its affiliates may record, or otherwise fix Participants' image and participation at a Workshop (the “Footage”); and (ii) irrevocably grants and assigns to GRI and its affiliates the exclusive and perpetual right, throughout the universe, to display, and/or create derivative works of the Footage and (iii) understands that Participants' contributions to the Footage will be wholly original and will not infringe or defame on the rights of any third party. All right, title, and interest in and to the Footage is a work made for hire made for the benefit of GRI, and/or shall be deemed assigned by Participant to GRI, throughout the universe in perpetuity. Participants waive any moral rights Participants have in the Footage.

4. Participants irrevocably and forever release, discharge, indemnify, and hold GRI, Perabo and GRI’s affiliates harmless from any damage, loss, liability, or claim, whether such liability is by way of direct, indirect, consequential, special, exemplary or other damage, which arises in connection with a Workshop or the breach of this Agreement including, without limitation, by way of the alteration or publication of the Footage, from any claim of defamation, invasion of privacy, or from any personal injury incurred in connection with a Workshop. Participants are alone responsible and accountable for Participants' decisions, actions, and results in life, and by the participation in the Workshop, Participants do not hold GRI, Perabo or GRI’s affiliates, including Selig, liable for any decision, action, or result that Participant makes due to Participant’s participation in a Workshop.

5. This Agreement represents the entire understanding between the parties and supersedes any prior agreement with respect to the subject matter. GRI may assign this agreement to any third party. The laws of New York shall govern this Agreement and any dispute related hereto shall be resolved in the courts located in New York County. Participants acknowledge and agree that Participants shall have no right to and hereby waive any right to obtain equitable or injunctive relief in regards to the Footage. Participants understands that Participants will not be covered by any GRI insurance policy. All notices to GRI hereunder shall be sent to [email protected]. Platform Tent for 2 People with Queen Mattress

Join us in paradise for Paul's flagship event of the year.

Price includes 7-nights of glamping accommodations for two people in one Platform Tent. Each Platform Tent has a queen-sized regular mattress and is placed on a platform under a wooden roof for protection against the sun and rain. An electric light, outlet and fan are all included in the tent. The Tents are surrounded by nature and close to a shared bathhouse. All linen, pillows, and towels are provided to guests. Guests in the Tents can bring valuables to be stored in the safety box at Reception at no charge. Also included in this registration are all meals (locally sourced, consciously prepared gourmet vegetarian fare with locally caught seafood served a few times a week) from dinner on check-in day until breakfast on check-out day, complimentary wireless internet in the main building and full retreat tuition.
